Getting Ready for Daycare

I start my new job on Monday!!!

I'm pretty excited if you can't tell!

I'll be working two days a week as a Clinical Nursing Supervisor at a small hospital near Wichita Falls. Everything about this job fell into place perfectly.

Its a management position (that normally requires a Masters...which I hope to start on next year) so its a great opportunity for gleaning some experience! Can't wait!

But....that means Clark will be going to daycare. Thankfully, the one daycare I REALLY wanted her to get in had an opening (I can't tell you how hard it is to find a part-time opening in daycare for a toddler)! YEAH!

So, yesterday, we went about getting all Clark's stuff rounded up for Monday.

Starting with a backpack.....

Taste-testing the backpack.....it passed!

It was HUGE on her, but the "toddler" backpacks were wayyyy too small to fit all her required items in it.

THEN it was time for a haircut. Have to look your best on your first day of daycare right?!

It was the FASTEST haircut I have ever seen done....but Clark did so good!

She got her hair trimmed and new bangs!

Cute huh?!

Oh, and I finally got the vinyl whales put up in her bathroom! :)

I know I'm going to be sad when I drop her off on Monday, but I'm also excited about this new chapter in our lives! Wish us luck on Monday!
