Watering the Grass

As some of you might know, Chris and I had our very own grass fire a couple of weeks ago.

Wind + Charcoal Grill + Extremely Dry Grass = 1/4 of our backyard going up in flames

Thankfully, nothing else was damaged...

But, we did decide that we should probably start watering the backyard more often.

So, Clark and I watered the grass this afternoon!

Well, really, I just let her play with the water hose.....if any grass managed to get watered, it was purely a coincidence.

My helper, filling up a random bucket we had outside...

Ok, so a LITTLE bit of grass DID get some H2O

She also made mud puddles....

And "drank" from the hose. She hasn't really figured out how to do this yet, so she just sticks her tongue out and lets the water run over it.

I definitely forgot to put a swim diaper on her, so I'm pretty sure at this point, her diaper weighed a TON!

Every time I moved the bucket, she HAD to make sure her toys came with us (P.S. notice the dark patch to the right of the picture. Thats NOT a water mark....that is the edge of our grass fire)!

How cute are those little chubby legs?!

More filling the bucket...How does she sit like that?!

Making sure her toys are close by...

Can't wait for summer so I can get the slip-n-slide out!
